We felt our family building project was going to be a new endeavor and needed a fresh label.
Druk is Tibetan for Dragon (hence all the dragons).
Emilia and I’s first home together is called “Druk Dzong" aka Dragon Fortress.
We also met in a Dragon year according to the Tibetan calendar.
This is not in revolt of our history or some passive-aggressive rejection of our families, but an evolution of the money lenders (Usry) and common persons (Volz) to become leaders in the world to help others, The Druks.

Formal with a flair is the dress code.
Please wear uplifted clothing but don’t be afraid to think outside the box. See the theme question for more details.
Don’t wear high heels, this is a mountain.

Lodging can be provided for anyone who needs it. Click the “RSVP + Lodging” Button on this website.
Food will be provided all of Saturday and Sunday morning.
Please come fed Friday if you are not a part of the rehearsal.

Take the Groome bus to Fort Collins and Uber from there

Fort Collins is our city just an hour south and is utterly pleasant.
It also has all of the breweries in the world apparently, if that’s your thing.
Otherwise, there’s a lot of hiking and fishing near by, but not much else. Good chance to meditate in the Stupa!

When you arrive to Drala, everything you need will be at our guest services building.
